Hip Care & Arthroscopic Hip Surgery
Groin aches, pinching, or a hip that won’t loosen up often trace back to the labrum or cartilage, and the fix starts with pinning down the real cause.

What we treat
Hip labral tears
The labrum is the ring of cartilage that seals and cushions the hip socket. Tears cause groin pain, clicking, or catching, and are common in athletes and active people.
Femoroacetabular impingement (FAI)
When the bones of the hip are shaped so they rub or pinch, they can wear on the cartilage and labrum over time and cause pain with deep bending or sitting.
Hip bursitis and tendon injuries
Inflammation on the outside of the hip causes pain when you lie on that side or climb stairs. This often improves without surgery.
Cartilage damage and early hip arthritis
Worn cartilage leads to aching, stiffness, and a hip that won’t move the way it used to. Dr. Deramo walks you through the full range of options.
Sports and overuse injuries
Strains, tendinitis, and other overuse problems from running, lifting, or repetitive activity.
